Pendleton Olive Estate expands and buys internationally owned Coonalpyn Olives.

Coonalpyn Olives, a large commercial scale olive grove in the South East of South Australia has been internationally owned for a number of years. Pendleton Olive Estate is very proud to say that it is now back in Australian hands. We are thrilled to have Coonalpyn Olives as part of the Pendleton Olive Estate family – 100% South Australian owned and grown.

Our Region & Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Our groves and our newly acquired Coonalpyn grove, are situated on the Limestone Coast tourist region of South Australia.

The Limestone Coast region has the perfect conditions for producing premium Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The Mediterranean climate and the abundance of water from the aquifer below, provide the ideal conditions for us to produce some of the best Australian Olive Oil.

Not only is the Limestone Coast region known for it’s award winning olive oil, it also boasts the World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves, famous Wagyu Beef and iconic Coonawarra and Padthaway Wine regions.

Our paddock to plate philosophy means that we grow and nurture our olive trees from the ground up to produce exceptional quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil for you to enjoy at home. Our production process uses state of the art processing equipment to produce the healthiest and freshest olive oil we can.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the highest grade of olive oil, and is the best olive oil you can consume. Did you know that it is the most stable to cook with at high heat, and is superior in antioxidant levels and health benefits compared to all other cooking oils!

Our Olive Mill – Temperature Controlled Storage

You might wonder where we store all this freshly pressed EVOO? Well, we have a state of the art storage mill that can store 1.2 Million litres of olive oil! An abundance of tanks to store plenty of the best South Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Our Storage Mill is temperature controlled all year round to keep our olive oil at it’s premium. We keep out the light, heat and oxygen, all of olive oil’s greatest enemies! This ensures our EVOO is kept at it’s optimum and healthiest until it’s ready to be bottled and shipped to you!
